Aerial images from the volcanic eruption in the Eyjafjallajökull glacier in south Iceland. The eruption started on April 13th 2010. Ash clouds from the volcano have disrupted air traffic to and from Europe on a large scale. Life in Iceland is mostly uninterrupted. Traffic is restricted in the vicinity of the eruption. People in Iceland are not in any immediate danger outside the eruption area. No casualties or major injuries have been reported.
